Endorsing a proposed bill, equity in law

Distribution

We trust our politicians to be fair and honest, otherwise why would we elect them?  But that doesn’t mean we have to trust all the OTHER peoples politicians.  They never seem to be rooted in reality, right?

Even if their attitudes are aloof, no moral reason that they should be immune to the consequences of the laws that result from their actions.  They are not our masters, but instead our society is theirs.  This is a simple amendment that explicitly states in the highest law of the land, that politicians must use and are subject to the laws they pass, and can not give themselves special favors.

What a great place to start.  Sign up today.  The distribution party supports this measure!  This definitely falls under ‘but don’t try to make me pay for it!’

Prejudice – Real life situation, how to cope

NY-guns

I had an experience I’d like to share.  I went to a gun range to practice shooting.  In case you didn’t know I’m a New York City resident.  This range was outside of the city.  I arrived early and had a wait a bit for my turn.   There were two employees and a half dozen regulars talking to each other casually about guns.

From what I gathered at least three of the regulars were present or retired law enforcement.  Nobody gave me the creeps, and they all knew each other, so it was pretty clear these were all upstanding citizens.  They were loud and maybe a bit boisterous.  Perhaps it was a lifetime of a deafening hobby effecting their ability to hear their own voices.

I was first shocked when I signed in.  The manager told me I would be tolerated this visit but I was not welcome.  That I should not come back.  Looking to diffuse the situation and not waste my trip, I agreed.  I took it on it’s face and sat down.  That’s when the ribbing started.  Nothing was said directly said to me, but hypothetical conversation started among the regulars.  It’s rapid conclusion was that ‘city slickers’ should stay in the city.  One poor fellow who was also clearly a regular defended his status as ‘not a city slicker’ for a full minute.  This went on for the duration of the wait.  Without knowing anything about me except that I lived in NYC, it was clear everyone there was prejudiced against me.

Eventually it was my turn to shoot and I did.   I paid and left without any altercations.

What were they really saying?  They were criticizing my society, New York City.  As you know from the type one civilization paper, that prejudice is really the observation of psychopaths controlling someone else’s society.  What were they trying to accomplish?   Rationally nothing, or maybe trying to get me not to come back.  But subconciously, they were signaling to me that by living in the city I was supporting psychopathic control.  Their metaminds were trying to persuade mine that it was acting in an unconciousnable way.  They want to hold me responsible for some harm caused to them by a society I support, or to get me to hold myself responsible.  Is it rational?   Perhaps not, but it is useful information.  My society is being manipulated by psychopaths.

Of course this information is too vague to locate the psychopaths, and even if I could, what could I do?  NYC is a very large complex hierarchy which will excel at hiding them from me.  I certainly can’t identify them much less demand their removal.  All I can do identify the psychopathic behaviour and shun it. but how do I do that?

Well lets look at the context.  I’m at a gun range and nearly every conversation I heard was gun related.  So perhaps they are saying that NYC psychopaths are trying to do something to their hobby,  perhaps even their livelihood or freedom.  That fits perfectly.  NYC is the largest city in the country by a factor of two.  There are legitimate reasons to not want a gun in every house.  Mistakes are very costly.  Stray bullets can and do kill in cities.  It’s part of the population density.  But I’m not in the city. I’m at a gun range in a much less dense area.   If you don’t want to disarm, simply don’t travel to the city.

But that’s the rub.  The city and particularly it’s mayor are trying to change gun laws everywhere on earth.  The city is trying to change the world to suit it’s needs.  It is trying to eliminate guns everywhere so they can’t be brought into the city.  A wish of homogeneity of sufficient scope is ultimately psychopathic.  It’s insane to try and dictate rights of others, everywhere else, where population density isn’t so high.  The cities society must think it’s the master and the world is the slave.

So the city IS attacking these folks and they are angry that I am part of it.  They are right, it is my society.  I recognise this and before I leave I apologize for my city and promise never to return.  I would love to shun the city, but everything I can do that directly shuns their gun policies is illegal.  I can sell my home and leave but that doesn’t suit my smallest society, my family.  So because I won’t leave the society of my family, the city has become an ultimate authority for me.

My options are limited and there is really only one choice for me.  Work to make NYC less powerful.  Break it down into smaller pieces until it’s citizens can clearly see the corruption before them.  Not talking about cutting off funding.  Leave that intact and break it up fairly.  Instead return jurisdiction and regulation back down to to the burroughs.  Time for burroughs to make their own decisions.  The mayor of Manhattan is not your king.  It’s our responsibility to reign in the insanity.  It’s time we claimed responsibility for what we enable.

In case I seem flip, or damn casual about my intent to legally dismantle NYC into five smaller cities one law at a time, I don’t take this lightly.  Of course I don’t, it’s my society.  I actually choose it.  I grew up outside the city and longed for the equity of race and religion, the lower taxes, and the sensible convenience of a well established mass transit system.  In fact I was not predisposed to this conclusion and reached it while writing this post and reviewing my own document on a type one civilization.  I’m as shocked as you are, perhaps more so.  But until we can screen for psychopaths we don’t have a choice.  To protect our societies from those who only compete and wish to make us slaves, we must shrink our economies until they are obvious.  Only when we can screen out psychopaths at a distance, can we trust at a distance as well.

Self defense from sociopaths

barn

As I mentioned in the BSA and Catholic Church child defense review, an intelligent sociopath stage psychopath may show no signs until a golden opportunity presents it’s self.  Without genetic screening how do you protect yourself?  Actually there are quite a few things you can do.   They may require permanent life changes, but it’s well worth it.  You won’t need to wait until society catches up to enjoy the benefits.

The key to happiness is a commitment to enlightenment.    Once you know how to know yourself, then making the world a better place becomes the obvious goal.  The key to both of these stages is knowing who to trust.  If you know who to trust, everything else falls into place.   It’s all about conserving energy for endeavors that first help yourself, and ultimately strengthen your ability to help others.

Train Yourself

  • Know yourself – You have emotions attached to every memory.  You can’t (and shouldn’t) change them all, but if you know WHY you have that emotional reaction then you own it.  If you can’t be surprised, you can’t be manipulated.  Your emotions may be hurtful or damaging, and destructive, but are never inaccurate.  That’s what you feel.  Understand them all.  Learn to counteract old destructive emotions, with positive ones that value you, your loved ones and your societies.  If you understand the old emotions and add new positive emotions, the old ones become
far less dangerous or destructive.  The conscience is a game of averages.
  • Study psychopaths – Learn about how psychopaths act in narcissistic, ASPD and sociopath stages, and how intelligence and wealth accelerates the progression.  Consider how someone who views all others as either their master or their slave would interact with the world.   You can study many other animals for examples.  Know what a golden opportunity is, not just in reality, but from different perspectives, points of view, and intelligence levels.  Most importantly always remember that all people project what they want to see onto others.  They will project superficiality onto you, and you compassion and empathy on them.
  • Become a meta-psychopath –  Intentionally hide your emotions and act like a psychopath under some conditions.  This is very dangerous and not for everybody.  Your conscience can quickly become overloaded with negative emotions, making you the monster you set out to fight.  Once you understand how other people work, and completely know yourself (your emotions), you can put them aside for a larger purpose.  Undercover police are a great example of how this might work.  Avoid hierarchical psychopath cooperatives as they become police states and cults, and you may not be allowed to abandon your post when the needs of your conscience demands it.  For hands on training you can join a society that is a psychopath cooperative.  This is where psychopaths are allowed some psychopathic behavior in exchange for strict limits as to when and where they can act out.  Typical examples might be black markets, counter-cultures, and activist collectives.  Of course I am NOT endorsing any illegal activity here.  For example the global heavy metal society may be one example of a completely legal, non-hierarchical counter-culture that is mildly psychopathic.

Identify psychopaths

  • Perform the questionnaire – Take the Hare attributes and Thomas Sheridan’s attributes and rate 6-10 people from 1-5 (not true to very true) for each attribute.  You must make sure to include yourself, and at least one person you are sure is not a psychopath to create a baseline.  If anyone has all the required attributes and many of the others, you have identified them.
  • Play the dupe – If you truly know yourself then bragging, boasting and generally displaying your full prowess is not needed.  Learn how to get people to underestimate you.  You will know you are succeeding when you become the subject of cruel jokes and endless ribbing and brow beating.  The psychopath will quickly assert themselves as them master and begin to order you about.  Now you have found them.
  • Set traps – Leave a variety of easy scores laying about.  Leave a $100 as bookmark on a coffee table book.  Leave your most powerful pain killer prescription bottle in the medicine cabinet in your bathroom with an exact number of placebo (probiodics work great)  pills in it.  Set your boss up to take credit for a project of yours at work.  Send a flirty, loyal but unknown friend to chat with your boyfriend, and see if he takes the bait.  If they take the bait no need to confront them.  The goal was identification, mission accomplished.
  • Examine their past – Don’t be afraid to ask tough questions about their past, not only of them but previous friends.  It doesn’t need to be a job interview.  Ask to see photo albums.  Ask about old cars.  Previous houses, towns.  Psychopaths love to brag so make it about how great their things and awards were.  This takes some time but this should yield research-able leads about their entire life.  If not, the risk is too great to continue.
  • Observe behavior

Ending the madness

Once you know who to trust your following actions should be a fairly easy decision.  It may be difficult to walk the path, but please persevere.  Shun all psychopaths.  Interact with them as minimally as possible. That way the next time they see a golden opportunity, you won’t be involved.  If must interact with them be sure you have a trusted witness.

Unless you are comfortable and skilled as a meta-psychopath, you should not remain in a society with known psychopaths.  Instead focus on local societies.  Use the rules of the societies to rout them, or find/form societies that have not yet been infiltrated and controlled.

If you are financially involved with a psychopath, minimize interactions to business, record everything, and make a plan to exit the relationship as soon as possible.

One day I will expand and revise this list.  Of course I am open to suggestions.  I hope this helps.

Boy Scouts and the Catholic Church – a review of two child protection training programs

Multi Colored Lollipop Candy

I have recently been required to attend two training programs as a parent wanting to be involved in my child’s activities.   Once is the “Youth Protection Training” offered online by the BSA or Boy Scouts of America.  The other is the “Protecting God’s Children for Adults” program offered by Virtus, and organization representing the Catholic Church.

First both programs are available to take for the general public.  Signup is online.  I’m not sure if what their policy states, but practically all you have to do is first sign up online, and login for the BSA or show up for Virtus.

I am not going to review every detail of the programs nor should I.  If you want to know all about them, just sign up and participate yourself.

The BSA

First I want to say the BSA has really thought about how security and trust works here.  Major kudos for their adult ‘buddy’ system.  No child is to be alone with any adult but their own parent, ever.  Anyone who has worked in security long enough knows that access means suspicion and liability.  Preventing children from ever being alone with a single adult as a policy makes sense.  This is new from when I was a child and a major change, for the better.

The lack of a physical class is not ideal, but understandable.  The problem with online classes is the video is carefully vetted.  This is good for not glossing over important points, but poor for connecting with people.  The BSAs approach is relying more on carefully thought out rules, teaching them and sticking to that.  It’s all about controlling physical access to the kids.  Partly though adult pairing and partly through restricting isolated areas.

One excellent idea was the immediate confiscation of electronic devices the second they are used to take a picture of restricted areas or behaviors.  This is sensible since MOST devices can communicate somehow, and once a picture or video gets out there will be no controlling it.

The regular gammit of being wary of touching, internet friends, privacy during bathroom activities, etc. They did well on general violence vs molestation as well.  Hazing and bullying gets a good amount of attention, including the perils of letting junior leaders make independent decisions without supervision.  They made the differentiation that children can also molest other children though all the video sequences depicted adult actors.

I should mention that the written texts are even better, and more detailed than the video training, but less likely to be read in full by parents.

Virtus

Completely different experience than the BSA training.  They went right for the empathy to gets parents attention and it works!  Major kudos for the video strategy.  Instead of getting actors to depict (and interpret) child molesters, the actor and interviewees in the video are actual child molesters.  This is useful both to parents who are less experienced with their children’s security and people who further study immoral acts.  Less experienced parents get to see just how normal the deviants act is (even while casually discussing some serious perversion), and folks more in the know get to look for subtle ques that could amount to future tip offs.

For example I am fairly sure that the first molester, Ronnie, is a psychopath.  He is very cold and callous to his acts, even while displaying warm conversational social ques.  He has adopted some clinical and police lingo when discussing his own acts.   He started molesting when he was ten years old.  And the biggest tip, he displayed some rapid shifting between scripts at the end of the first video.  Not just stuttering words, but stuttering ideas.  Somebody give that man the Hare.

As a note using the videos of actual child molesters can backfire in the future.   Anger was brewing, leaving people open to manipulation.  After the training I pointed out to the man in front of me his veins were popping out of his arms and he looked as if he would rip his metal folding chair in half.  Though I saw NO evidence of marketing or propaganda techniques during the training, such techniques could be used in the future.  Overall I would say the benefits outweigh the risk.  People have been in the dark long enough.

Another major surprise was the Deacon who lead he discussion between conversations.  Among his qualifications, he is an ex LEO (law enforcement officer), was friends with a priest molester who he later investigated and busted, and has had several close interactions with child abuse cases, including near misses with his own children.  I seriously doubt all the Virtus leaders are this involved and pertinent, but it’s a very good sign he the one performing the training at that church.

The Virtus curriculum was reasonably secular.  It was surprisingly technological with some good suggestions like disabling the internet for latch key kids, and criticism of social networking (like Facebook.)  Did a fair amount on the dangers of casual touching opening a door to normalcy.

In contrast to the physical access controls of the scouts, there were no hard and fast rules about privacy.  While it was ‘to be avoided’, it’s not clear what the church is doing to limit access.   The scouting policy had a sensible policy here for private conversations to be had out of earshot, but in sight.  This also opens the door to hazing, bullying and possibly even molestation from other children.

Psychology

The lack of psychological discussion was disappointing.  It seems to me that child molesters are one of two categories.  Psychopaths who see all interactions in terms of masters and slaves.  Molesting psychopaths may have molested as children which they accepted as dutiful slaves.  Of course when they became an adult and the master, they expect the same privilege in return.  In addition, psychopaths may have simply been presented with what they perceived to be a ‘golden opportunity’ and decided to molest because they thought it would be fun and they could not be caught.  Empathic children who’s metaminds were incomplete or had blank slates when they were molested, may also become molesters.  Repeated molestation added ‘sex with children’ to their consciences groups of normal ‘moral’ behavior.    Again kudos to Virtus for drilling that home.  In any of the three cases, molesters really think or feel their behavior is normal.  They will not betray their intentions.

Psychology is important because it reveals the greatest risk.  A psychopath with no past history of receiving or giving abuse, and no perceptible grooming behavior may perceive a golden opportunity to sexually abuse a child, and take it.   An intelligent psychopath in the sociopath stage can show NO signs of being a psychopath at all!  It can come out of the blue!  The key to successful child protection is preventing golden opportunities with your child and ANY adult or child.

Now it is possible, most likely through collusion for two emapths who have normalized child molestation to work together inside the BSA.  But they have disadvantages to psychopaths in subterfuge.  They are subject to the kind heartstring tugging that Virtus practices in it’s training.   While their emotional selves are twisted up, they still operate like any emotional people with their numerous weaknesses and tells.  This is well documented elsewhere by conventional psychology.

Ratings

So together both programs make an excellent child protection program.  Virtus has superior discussion of detecting empathic child molesters, while the BSA has the best policy for preventing golden opportunities.

The Catholic Church (Virtus) gets three stars for superior rhetoric appealing and dedicated to detecting empathic molesters, but failure to control physical access.  This is probably a symptom of a culture in which all people are redeemable.  This is at odds with the evidence of how psychopaths think.   Psychopaths are oblivious to long term risk like punishment from God in the afterlife (assuming they actually capable of true faith in God, which is highly unlikely.)

The BSA gets five stars for dealing with all scenarios.  While psychopaths can never really trust each other, two or more empathic molesters could come up with a pact to exploit the loophole.   Problem is at least one of the adults must be a scout leader, who are subject to background checks.  While not perfect, this is a best effort, and I do not know of a better system at this time.

Type one civilization paper complete

peace

Major additions to the type one civilization paper. Added a comprehensive section on how to reform national governments to reduce corruption. Please reread and share.

Here is an excerpt.

I would suggest a new political party would be needed. The distribution party, or the distributors of law. Endorsing capitalist republics, but ones with minimal powers under constant scrutiny and subject to regular legal distribution. Fiscally conservative but socially liberal. Dedicated to rewriting laws and their allocated funding to the smallest locales possible.

Ethics of revenge

pointless

Wanting to get even is inherently a dangerous proposition, but grasping why can be difficult.  Revenge is a competitive act.  Sometimes it is selfish thoughts about a legitimate loss in a fair contest.  Just as often, it’s about a losing a contest you didn’t even know was a contest.  Avoiding selfish gratification becomes an easy choice for most empaths, but result of losing a hidden contest is moral outrage.

Think carefully about this asyemetric condidtion.  If you were wronged by a person or a society because they were competing  when you were cooperating, they have commited a psychopathic act.  This does not mean they only capible of psychopathic or selfish acts (a psychopath) but it may.   You may challenge them to a fair rematch, but if they are a psychopath they will only accept if they think they can win.  Rematches for unfair contests are a cooperitive not competitive behavior.

If you relize that they have intentionally slighted you, the temptation may be to challenge them to a second contest with some unfair suprise.  Retribution is the act of challenging a person or society to an unfair contest, to teach them a ‘lesson,’ about having done the same.

You may already see what is wrong here.  If they are a psychopath, they will not learn any lesson about right and wrong.  The only possibly good outcome is if they fail to assess the contest, agree to it, loose, and then determine that they were in correct and you are actually the master and they the slave.  You can imagine how likely that is.  Even if you get the prize of being ‘master’ who want’s to hang around with a psychopath?

If it is an empath or a moral society, you simply need to point out the inequity, and they will correct it as soon as they can.  You should forgive them, as that is best for everyone’s emotional health and well being, but don’t forget.  Memory is critical to seperate an unethical act from a patern displayed by an amoral entity.

So personal retribution can have a good outcome, but it’s a BIG risk.  Hence our unexplained aversion to it.  Our metamind’s advantage in long term high impact risk.

Of course retribution does not need to be high risk does it?  Life operates as many levels.  Even if they don’t cooperate with them, that person or society interacts and perhaps even hides in many other societies.  Societies have rules to keep out psychopths.  If the rule is ethical, and it has been broken, invoking it is actually doing a service for humanity.

Of course if you’ve encountered a sociopath, their guile will slide past your attempts to unveil them.  The best advice you can get is ‘the best revenge is living well.’  Free yourself from the people and organizations that shield the amoral agent.  Turn your back.  Shun them all.  Don’t interact.  Don’t communicate.  Don’t invest.  And encourage others to do the same.  Adapt to life without their society.  Remember it’s not the strongest or the smartest, but the most adaptive to change.  Make your life a contest they could never win.  A contest of cooperation.
